Zimbabwe experienced a shallow magnitude 4.2 earthquake around noon today, Monday 14 June 2021. According to South Africa’s Council for Geoscience (CGS), a magnitude 4.2 earthquake was reported near Gweru, Midlands Province, at 1:53 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. Over 400 newly-resettled farmers in Maganga near Marondera, were last week evicted to pave way for the return of the farm’s original owner, Hunyani Estate.
